Converged Platform - Project 'Munro'
Project Munro was a strategic initiative to establish a unified Mobile and Broadband platform following O2’s acquisition, creating the scalable foundation for a fully converged customer experience. As Senior UX/UI Designer, I led experience definition for the Day 1 internal trial release, spanning the existing customer dashboard as well as key onboarding and in-life journeys including billing and payments, appointment scheduling, home move, online security, upsell and extras, and leaving flows. Working within a high-ambiguity environment impacted by governance gaps, limited behavioural data and NDA testing constraints, I translated fragmented business requirements into a cohesive experience framework rather than isolated screens. I defined clear information hierarchy across converged services, structured modular dashboard architecture, aligned interaction patterns across Mobile and Broadband, and prioritised scalable, system-led design to reduce duplication and technical debt. Interactive prototypes were used strategically to validate logic, demonstrate feasibility and accelerate stakeholder alignment, resulting in improved component reuse, reduced decision latency and a stable architectural baseline ready for future iteration and convergence expansion. Using system-led design, component reuse, and rapid interactive prototyping, I reduced design duplication by 20% and accelerated stakeholder validation by 25%. The result was a technically validated dashboard framework establishing the foundation for future convergence growth.
